I just got home from my first attempt at surfing (cashing in on the sick swell from the impending Hurricane Irene) and despite getting absolutely pummeled and inhaling half of the water in the ocean, it was amazing. Definitely worth getting up at 5:30 AM to get down there and get an early start and I already want to go back.
